Teaching Time

What was the most valuable experience in the group process?

How to respond to other people’s stories to validate the person, how I numbed my heart. I am humbled in my heart. It’s more important what happened in me then what happened to me.

Memories are our guests and I choose how long they stay and how I react to them. Be able to open up and talk about me. Confessing about my past and present problems. Feeling like a heavy load has been released. I’ve carried it for too long and was happy to release it and begin refreshed. Getting all my pain out. No more anger, a better way to handle my anger.

What are some specific things you become aware of about our
lifestyle, attitudes and relationships?

I am aware that I can be patient with people that are stuck in self-pity. They got stuck because they don’t have tools or don’t know how to love themselves. I realize that I am soft and gentle with people. I thought I was rough. I need help and I can help others with a positive word. Difficult. I am still dealing with my past behavior to this day. I let my hurts, uncertainty take away my faith in God, because I couldn’t tell anyone of what happened to me. That lead to alcohol and drugs. A teenage run away. Dependent on alcohol and marijuana. Keep positive. Be more happy.

Music/Worship

I love “The Secret Place” song. I have not heard of that song before. Wonderful.

Group Time

Sufficient time to share, not too short or too long. Amazing. Good. Got to know new people and new friends.
